Ying Xia Tang (映霞) is a renowned Chinese-Australian poet based in Sydney. She founded the Sydney International Poetry Festival in Australia in 2022 and is President of the 2026 Festival, and is Honorary Chair of the Australia International Elite Culture and Arts Center. Her writing, in the words of one editor, “holds the vastness of life and a love that reaches straight to the heart”, and her readers are spread across the world.

Her poetry collections, published by the People’s Publishing House and Fudan University Press, include Living Quietly Like This (《就这样静静地生活》), Eighteen Moments and a Poem of Longing (《十八个瞬间和一首思念的诗》), I Only Want to See the World Through Your Love (《我只想透过你的爱来看世界》) and Flourish and Wither: A Love of Home (《荣枯的乡恋》). Her diary-form prose collection Three Unsteady Years: A Sydney Pandemic Diary (《摇摇晃晃的三年·悉尼疫情日记》) was published by Lanke Publishing, Australia. Ten of her poems appear in the 2025 first issue of Survivors Poetry Journal (幸存者诗刊), edited by Yang Lian and Tang Xiaodu.
